Iwona Smolinska is from Warsaw, Poland. 1982 to 1988 Iwona completed with distinction the Vocation Cosmetology School and Hair and Cosmetology School in Warsaw, Poland. She has twenty years of professional experience. Her specialized skills of make up application and hair dressing throughout Europe and the United States allowed her to consummate professionalism and her attention to detail has enabled her to touch many faces while building a large clientele.

Iwona has a great passion for make up and believes it is truly an art. She believes it is an art that conveys the inner beauty we all posses. Iwona works with all genres of make up including the natural, stylish, enchating and sophisticated look. Her unique approach to make up application is done by the extremely distinctive examination of the face bringing out natural qualities of each person. She works with enthusiastic dedication and superb creativity. Every client she encounters is proceeded by sincere initiative and the desire for absolute mastery of the face.

Iwona worked as a make up consultant at Christian Dior for six years in Warsaw, Poland. She was awarded second place in a competition for “sales person of the year“. She developed high profile clientele such as actors and models from all over Europe. In 1997, she took part in the “27th Congress International D’Esthetique Applique“ which was a make-up application and the style seminar held in Paris, France. Throughout her career she was awarded 1st place in “Metropolitan Hair Competition“ in Warsaw, Poland and 1st place in a make up competition “Gold Lipstick“ in Warsaw as well. In 2000, she become a freelance make up artist here in New York and has worked at several prestigious solons throughout the NY metropolitan area.
